The tourism business is perhaps the largest industry on earth. When strategically well planned and executed tourism provides an economic stream both into and throughout a community and an incentive to preserve the best things a community or destination has to offer---from its wildlife habitats its historic districts or great scenery to its local culture and heritage. This study is structured into two objectives. The first objective of the study is to identify potentials of DehradunMussourie to attract and boom tourism and it objectives were identifying the opportunities and threats in DehradunMussourie understanding and how to attain the capabilities identifying and the ways to reduce the weaknesses and providing suggestions and solutions for optimum use of existing capabilities in the region . The second objective of the study is to examining on applying best strategies with the help of ICT for acquiring sustainable tourism in DehradunMussourie by employing a SWOT analysis.
