Abstract
Abstract Present study deals with the study of the physico-chemical parameters of Ghagardara pond for one year in Nanded district Maharashtra. The water quality in the Ghagardara pond was examined. The parameters like pH turbidity chloride hardness alkalinity total dissolved solids O2 CO2 sulphate iron ammonia etc were analyzed. Results revealed that all the parameters of pond water were within permissible limits according to Bureau of Indian Standards BIS. Descriptive statistics such as mean standard error were calculated 26 the Analysis of variance ANOVA was carried out to compare the parameters at different stations.
