Abstract
The study ballet performances based on works by Shevchenko, who entered the repertoire of Ukrainian Opera and ballet theatres. It was established that became the most popular ballet "Lileya" Dankevich in which occurred the formation of the Ukrainian national ballet, the connection folk dance with elements of classical choreography.
