LIGHT STEEL THIN-WALLED STRUCTURES IN CONSTRUCTION OF SPORTS FACILITIES

Today, the application of light steel thin-walled structures (LSTS) is carried out around the world. Until recently, the construction of LSTS were limited to small, low-rise buildings, in the absence of a full regulatory framework and sufficient experience of construction of buildings. The article describes the technology of construction of sports facilities with the use of LSTS, compared with other materials, and example of a structural solution based on an existing project bachelor's thesis.
