METHODOLOGY OF EVALUATION OF RESIDUAL LIFE OF BUILDING STRUCTURES

The article raises the question about the relevance and necessity of assessment of residual life of industrial buildings and structures. The purpose of the article is to determine the optimal method of calculating the residual life. The procedure for predicting the resource is as follows: to collect the necessary data using field tests, gather all the documentation of the object, the analysis of the collected information, the assessment of current technical condition, prognosis for defining parameters. The review of the applicable calculation methods and their advantages and disadvantages has been made.
