Abstract
In this work, a study on viscoelastic properties of geosynthetic materials used in civil engineering is presented. Several geotextiles and geogrids samples with different structures have been investigated. The tensile properties of geosynthetics including tensile strength, strain at maximum load and tensile load at specified strain have been determined. The creep and relaxation tests were carried out. In the article some results of numerous conducted tests are presented, analyzed and may be used to preselection of geosynthetics materials.
