Abstract
In this article psychological characteristics of family had been examined, the struc- ture and functions of psychological willingness for family creation, claims and expectations of students of third and fourth courses of Russian-Armenian University had been investigated at marriage. In the research, to define role expectations and claims in marriage A. N. Volkova's test is used. It is this method aims to explore the main aspects of family life: emotional sup- port, sense of “us”, visual attractiveness of the partner, parental responsibilities, professional interests of spouses, household duties. In the end we had data reflecting students' orientation on spouse's active role behavior (role expectations), as well as own active involvement in family in implementation family functions (role claims)
