Peculiarities of vocational training of future designers in higher education institutions

The article discloses essence of the concept ‘designer'. It highlights social and communicative, special, personal competencies of professional work of the future designer. The author defines the essence of and peculiarities of vocational training of the future designers, and substantiates pedagogical foundations of preparation of future designers in higher educational institutions. It is noted that the task of vocational training the future strategy of the designer can be represented in the model, the core of which is the formation of the professional education of future designers. The emphasis is placed on the key idea of filling the content of training of future specialists in the field of design, which is due to the possibility of its permanent innovation and improvement, depending on external factors.
