RISK FACTORS OF TRANSBOUNDARY SPREADING OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES

The article deals with the research of the world epidemic situation, as well as the analysis of status of the world cooperation in the field of biological safety. The information about the veterinary ill-being concerning a number of animal diseases during the period from 2010 to 2015 was studied, the data concerning the import of animal products from the USA to the other countries of the world were analyzed, as well as the main threat sources were defined. According to our conclusions, the quarantine policy and the requirements of biological safety during the trans-border movement of animals and animal products are not observed in the USA, so there is a potential threat of spread of agents of infection from the USA to the European countries
