Abstract
In present review work on “dimple tube double pipe heat exchanger design” gives brief analysisof heat transfer area, friction factor, and thermal performance of dimple pipe heat exchanger.The study shows that using available enhancement method such as considering the surfaces of dimple like spherical, ellipsoidal, triangular, trapezoidal, square etc. which can provides the heat transfer rate higher than smooth tube. From the reviews it is also known that increase in turbulence intensity may be one of the reason for increase heat transfer.
