Abstract
Chorioangioma placenta is the commonest benign growth of the placenta. It is a benign angioma arising from the chorionic tissue. It is also known as haemangioma. Unfavourable effects on mother and fetus are more with large chorioangiomas ( 5 cm). With the advent of ultrasonogram and Doppler, it is detected early in the antenatal period itself. We present a large chorioangioma placenta with antepartum haemorrhage and polyhydramnios.
