RECURSIVE ALGORITHM

The recursive algorithm is an algorithm which calls itself. In more general terms, if the problem can be solved using the solutions for smaller versions of the same problem, but smaller versions are reduced to an easily solvable cases, you can use the recursive algorithm to solve this problem. For example, certain elements are recursively set value or recursively defined function can be obtained by a recursive algorithm.
