THE SEVEN DEADLY PROBLEMS IN CATHOLICH CHURCH / KATOLİK MEZHEBİNDE YEDİ ÖLÜMCÜL GÜNAH PROBLEMİ

Sin and especially seven deadly sins are very important themes in christianity. In the historical process, the seven deadly sins which was shaped by Pope I. Gregory and confirmed by Catholich Church are argued for centuries. These sins changed in the process of time but these was defined seven. Such as lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, envy, anger, and pride are individual and social sins. Christians was formed these sins from Holy Book. These sins who come from New Testament are important reference for Christians. The seven deadly sins which are related to individual and society was adopted by every Christian sect. Especially Catholics are seen these sins as principles of faith. These sins always maintains its importance in Christianty but these sins was ignored sometimes by Christians. Because of changing conditions and revealed problems, the seven deadly sins was updated by Catholic church. Vatican emphasized both old and new sins. Also Vatican say that sinners are punished for these sins. The seven deadly sins was discussed in some branch of art. Especially cinematography adress this issue. Also many director both expressed importance of sins and made money. Catholic Church who react positively this situation aimed keep the seven deadly sins on the agenda through religious command and art.
