Abstract
A fuzzy interval programming approach is presented in this paper for solving problems of Multi Objective Solid Transportation Problem (MOSTP) with interval coefficients are based on the optimization of the sum of membership degrees which are defined for objective of the transportation problem. In the MOSTP, many variables are considered as uncertain; therefore the decision process is very complicated. Thus, it is first converted into a crisp one by using the order relation on the intervals cost functions and the constraint functions. Then, these membership degrees are determined from optimal solutions of individual objectives. Then, the final mathematical model based on fuzzy set is itself a MOSTP which can be solved by the Maple 17.02 optimization toolbox. Finally, the computational results are offered to demonstrate the effectiveness of the suggested method.
