Abstract

There are the main characteristics of the English advertising texts of two cosmetic manufactures - Maybelline and MaxFactor, and mostly, higher imperativeness, the active use of adjectives, and others in this article. There are also the results of the previous analysis of the extra-linguistic characteristics.
