Abstract
Power generation is very important for development of Human race. Losses and efficiency takes a major role in effective utilization of energy. CFD analysis is done on the 210 MW tangentially fired pulverized tower type boiler. Temperature and velocities at different positions are obtained. Oxygen and Carbon dioxide mass fractions are estimated. Combustion behavior and coal particle trajectories are estimated. This analysis is utilized to examine the water wall and inside water flow behavior.
