Abstract
The article shows research of hypolipidemic action of drugs of natural origin. Medicines of traditional medicine had pronounced hypolipidemic and angioprotective action, apparently in connection with a total activity of pharmacologically active substances. These pharmacological effects have been primarily associated with a combined action of biologically active substances (flavonoids, terpenoids, ascorbic acid and others). Thus, the preparations of metabolic products of the honey bees in combination with medicinal plants gave antiatheromatous and hypolipidemic action, and can be used in complex pharmacotherapy of atherogenesis.
