Abstract
The economic imbalance between the Russian regions today is quite strong and not the last role in this phenomenon was played by demographic factors. This article draws attention to the diversity of demographic imperatives of the economic systems of regions from the positions of geospatial relations. Separate analysis of natural and mechanical population movement, public health, demographic structure, settlement system and their impact on the economic development of Russian regions.
