THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE PERSONALITY TRAITS OF EMPLOYEES WORKING IN HOTEL MANAGEMENT WITH THEIR JOB PERFORMANCE: A RESEARCH IN FIVE STAR HOTELS IN ANTALYA

Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship of the personal characteristics of employees working in hotel management with their job performance. The study was carried out with the participation of 402 employees working in five star hotel operations in Antalya. A survey consisting of ‘Job performance appraisal' and ‘ten-item personality inventory' was used as a measuring tool. The asserted hypothesis of the study was tested with factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis respectively. The results of the study revealed that the personality traits of employees working in five star hotels in Antalya with an all inclusive full board system had a significant impact on their job performances.
