Abstract
The article analyses the Virgin Mary motives in Fabiyan Birkovskyi, Yoanykiy Halyatovskyi, Lazarus Baranovych and other Baroque writers' works. The article defines the main conceptual means of the Virgin Mary themes representation. The attention is drawn to the eastern and western schools of Marian literature. The role of the Virgin Mary's image in the military, political and polemical prose is underlined. The value of biblical hermeneutics in the Virgin Mary sermons shaping is examined.
