Abstract
In this article the tendencies of vertical and horizontal movements of vowel segments' disarticulation in the most known dialects of England are considered. The sociolinguistic research is currently important because of contradictory processes happening in regional language forms: globalization and disappearance on the one hand, and intentional preservation ? on the other hand. The task of this research work is not only to identify the deflection degree of dialect phonation from pronouncing standard, but to describe the nature of the disarticulation movement.
