Abstract
The current issues of developing spiritual and moral culture of the future specialists, graduates of higher education institutes in process of the higher education are considered in the article. The author studies the main priorities of state politicians in the field of higher education under the conditions of the deepening democratic reforms. The system of higher education and staff training, which formed before the proclamation of independence in Uzbekistan, did not correspond to the nature of the democratic transformations and market economy. This is why the program reforming the whole system of higher education was accepted in the young independent country, as our future hopes are connected with training of competitive specialists.
