URAL LANDSCAPES BY P.P. VERESHCHAGIN

Pyotr Petrovich Vereshchagin is one of the first painters who produced pictures of the Urals. The artist left the big heritage devoted to this region. He has collected a huge number of etudes based on which he painted the pictures of landscapes of the Urals. A series of his Ural landscapes devoted to building of the first railroad Perm ? Tagil ? Yekaterinburg contains up to 30 various subjects. Landscapes of the Chusovaya River by P.P. Vereshchagin have stately appearance that is characteristic for the local nature. P.P.
