STRONGEST PERSISTENT MULTICAST ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR RELIABLE TRANSMISSION IN BOTH AD-HOC AND MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORKS

Abstract
Multicast is an efficient method to communicate between group of users. In Recent Multicast Protocol has a big challenge to give Robustness in dynamic networks. In Addition Multicast protocols has network traffic, latency in packet delivery and packet losses during transmission of packets. To address the problem we have proposed a novel protocol called as The Efficient continuous path Multicast Protocol (ECPM). This protocol well suits both ADHOC and MANET (Mobile Adhoc Network). The ECPM Protocol based on Virtual Symmetry Structure (VSS).This Structure used to choosing efficient intermediate nodes between source and destination This protocol mainly focuses to find optimal path between source and destination nodes and High successful rate with maximum packet delivery ratio. This protocol based on karl-wiestrass principles .This principle used to find optimal path between source and destination. This protocol was simulated and Analysis using MATLAB for both Adhoc and MANET. Simulation results give reliable transmission from source to destination without any deviation.
