The review provides an analysis of published data on the classification of hyperandrogenic diseases in women, the genetic factors predisposing to the formation of different phenotypes of PCOS and metabolic syndrome in these patients and their impact on gender, onset of the menstrual cycle and reproductive functionin the patient population.
