Models and real dynamics of avalanche-like socio-economic processes

Given work examines space and time dynamics of salt panic in Russia in February 2006, as one of the most vivid example of avalanche-like socio-economic processes widely covered in communication media. The comparison of the situation and author’s mathematical and simulation models was performed.
