Abstract
In the absence of oxygen, organic substrates convert to biogas in the Anaerobic digestion systems. Present study describes performance parameters of anaerobic digestion (AD) system. And also study reveals the importance of pretreatment. This study discusses the various parameters to enhance the biogas production and to analyze the inhibitors of AD system and the challenges in AD systems to enhance the biogas production
