Abstract
Scoliosis as a manifestation of post polio residual is becoming increasingly rare due to increased awareness of polio preventive measures. Scoliosis in direct proportion to its severity can lead to restrictive lung disease and pulmonary hypertension. Development of pulmonary hypertension adversely affects the morbidity and mortality in such patients. We present a case of 28 year old male with post-polio residual paralysis who had mild thoraco-lumbar scoliosis yet a moderately severe restrictive lung disease with hypoventilation. He developed severe pulmonary hypertension as a consequence
