Abstract
Mesenteric artery embolism is an acute abdominal emergency with very high mortality rate which requires a high index of suspicion for its diagnosis. We hereby report a 45 years old female patient with rheumatic heart disease with atrial fibrillation with thromboembolic mesenteric artery occlusion and left common femoral artery occlusion. Patient is not an known case of rheumatic heart disease.
