Abstract
The article analyzes Minerva the publication of historical and philological seminar of Kyiv Higher Courses for Women as a bibliographic monument and historical source that synthesizes various information. The edition is regarded as the embodiment of corporate entry of women in academic life and as a source that provides a creation of new models of humanitarian space as well as the correction of existing ones in early twentieth century. It's hypothesized that the source information is not limited by the problems of female education, but provides an opportunity to better imagine the social transformation of the early twentieth century. It opens new prospects for understanding the problems of historiography, cultural processes, intellectual, psychological and moral characteristics society, university research environment, its individual representatives.
