Abstract
The article focuses on the issues of succession in the dynasty of Branković on the male and female line. The Branković was the last ruling of the Serbian dynasty. The last representative of the dynasty on the male line was Iovan Branković, the father of Helen-Ecatherine, which was the second wife of the Moldovan hospodar Petru Rares. All sisters of Helen-Ecatherine signed under the famous name Branković, but according to our research, only three of the five daughters, could be its successors.
