Abstract
Various strategies of representation the creativity of the first half of the 19th century historian M. A. Markevich have been considered. The circle of the problems of studying the history of Ukrainian historical science as a phenomenon of the historical and historiographical culture has been defined. The concept of historiographical time has been proposed and possible perspectives of its use for bio-historiographical research have been shown. The concept of the historiographical time has been considered as an important methodological setting, guided by the understanding of the historiographical culture as a complicated, multi-level, structured, asynchronous, but, at the same time, the holistic intellectual and cultural phenomenon.
