Abstract
Poland, for many years has been engaged in activities aimed at equalising life chanc- es of people with disabilities. They relate, among other things, to access to work and its durabil- ity. The unquestionable example of it is the ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The essence of the article is to search for answers to the question whether and to what extent the standards defined in the Convention relating to the issue of sup- porting the employment of people with disabilities, are reflected in the Polish reality?
