Abstract

In this article notions about human body, appearance and physical attractiveness were considered. The history of relation to human body and its physical appearance could be traced by philosophical manuscripts, arts, contemporary scientific researches. During all historical process human minds were absorbed by the idea to find common “denominator” – to define beauty and disfigurement in relation to unchanging pattern.
