Abstract
The article deals with analyzing the role of social production orientation in the socialization process of Ukraine's economy, as well as considers the possible structural transformation for the implementation of this process. Theoretical and methodological basis for the study of a socially oriented economics is its representation as a set of four interrelated and interdependent areas: socially oriented production; socially oriented distribution and redistribution; socially oriented consumption; socially oriented environment. These areas reflect the full reproductive cycle of creation and consumption of the social product, and its operation environment, which provides comprehensive andcomplete consideration of socio-economic development of the country. One of the most problematic areas of the dynamics of structural indicators is the social orientation of production. The author used a special formula to estimate the general level of social orientation of the economics. The formula is the product of multiplication of "life expectancy at birth" by "disposable income per person per a year" in the numerator and there's "differentiation in living standards" in the denominator. This approach to the assessment of the overall level of social orientation of the economy found out the lagging of Ukraine from countries-comparisons (Germany, France, Poland). This lag is from 3.8 to 9, which can be regarded as certain potential for socialization of the economy of Ukraine. Deepening of social orientation of Ukraine’s economics production requires structural transformation of the domestic industry. Existing structure of the industry needs to be changed because of significant proportion of the mining industry. It’s necessary to increase the segment of engineering to reduce occupational injuries and to grow the wage fund of employed in the industry.
