Research of progress of scientific and technical potential of Ukraine trends

The state of scientific and technical potential of Ukraine is analysed after 1991-2012 years, including quantity and qualification of research workers, presence and quality of material and technical base of science, volumes and sources of its financing, possibilities of participation of the Ukrainian scientists in international scientific collaboration, effectiveness of scientific activity. It is suggested to strengthen the role of regional scientific centers NAS of Ukraine and establishments of NAAS of Ukraine for coordination of scientific research in regions.
