Abstract
Saving energy and reducing pollution have become nowadays universal interests. Money and human effort are mobilized everywhere around the globe in a temptation to save what's left of the Planet and preserve it to the future generations. One of the most effective ways proposed is to reduce energy consumption. However, required levels of hygiene and human comfort require important energy production and consumption. On the other hand, the construction sector is by far the largest energy consumer, and accounts for more than 30% of total global energy consumption, that mainly comes from heating and cooling living spaces. Therefore, and in order to preserve the environment and the resources, and to enable sustainable development, new sober and clean technologies are nowadays being purchased. This paper treats the thermal storage in buildings. Thermal analysis of a wall with Phase Change Materials (PCM) is treated, modeled then simulated.
