Abstract
This paper describes the differences in the motivation of scientific activities in multicultural research organizations in the Komi Republic. Revealed differences in the dominant motives and in the motivation structure in organizations where dominated by Komi and assimilated Russian, and where more than 50% of the Russian arrived in the Komi Republic in the first generation. These motivational differences allow us to recommend the motivation scheme of employees in these organizations with culturally appropriate.
