PSYCHOLOGICAL DEFENSES AND COPINGS FOR PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF ATTACHMENT

Abstract
The article presents the results of empirical research of connection between different types of attachment and the psychological defenses and coping mechanisms. Identified that is associated with a type of attachment the specificity of stressmodulation is more manifested in the mechanisms of psychological defenses than coping mechanisms. Moreover, the tension of psychological defenses above with insecure types of attachment. People with Autonomous type (A), have the most favourable characteristics for establishing interpersonal relationships. They are characterized by the use of more reactive education. People with preoccupied type of attachment (B), often use mechanisms of psychological protection associated with interpersonal relationships: regression, compensation, projection and displacement. People with Pseudoautonomous type (C), there is a negative correlation with compensation, which can be interpreted as a lack of need to conform to the expectations of others. People with Disorientated type of attachment (D), are positively correlated with projection and intellectualization negative with among the mechanisms of psychological protection, as well as the positive flight negative and positive reappraisal among coping mechanisms.
