Abstract
The activities of the specialized pre-school educational institutions for children with mental retardation in modern conditions requires the development of new science-based organizational, methodological and technological components of the educational and recovery process. It is known that the sense of rhythm is one of the necessary, universal abilities, providing a full development of the individual, of his life. Rhythm is a characteristic temporal changes, the operation of which allows the person to fully perceive the world, adapt to it and modify it according to your needs
