Abstract
The article raises the problem of a socio-economic phenomenon of unemployment on the example of the Rostov region. The results of the analysis showed that the level of unemployment in the region decreases. In addition, the article discusses the strategy to reduce unemployment. The result is a proposal to create a separate structure, dedicated to the study of the labor market.
