Abstract
The Study argues that Complex Adaptive System (CAS) Theory is closely aligned with the prevalent knowledge and information on the unique nature of human resources management practices of Information Technology industries in India. As such, this can be regarded as a more advanced theory on Human Resource Management in comparison to the Resource Based View (RBV). The research is based on a Qualitative study made of 15 IT Companies operating in India and globally, and the inferences drawn from their HR Practices are presented and discussed from a CAS perspective of Human Resources Management.
