Camera Based Spectacles for Visually Impaired (Camspects)

Camspecta is a portable bar code reader for visually impaired people. This device consist of a pair of spectacles, a camera and head phones attached with it. When an object is held in front of the spectacles, it will detect the bar code from the device and will extract the details of the object including the price and name of the product. Thus it will help the visually impaired ones to identify and buy an object during shopping. Citation: Wineeta P.
