Abstract
The etiology of pancreatitis is diverse and requires a separate analysis in each case. Therefore, diagnosis and treatment represent a complex task. The development of pancreatitis in patients could be a consequence of other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. The main etiological factors in the development of pancreatitis are eating habits of patients and their Constitution. In the diagnosis of pancreatitis a greater role played by instrumental methods and laboratory criteria are only auxiliary.
