Abstract
The relative frequencies of word length are specified by two functional relations: third-order polynomial for length from 1 to 6 and power function for lengths more than 6. Six coefficients are parameters which are calculated for this text based on its statistical characteristics, Parameters have been calculated for two Hebrew-language texts. Both times the calculations of relative frequencies of word length distribution according to the developed formulas were close to experimental relative frequencies.
