ON THE ISSUE OF ORGANIZATION OF ULTRASOUND SCREENING OF BREAST PATHOLOGY

The issue of necessity to develop the screening algorithm for breast cancer is raised in the article. The diagnostic opportunities of X-ray mammography and ultrasound investigation of mammary glands are considered. The special attention is given to mammary gland examination at women aged 40-49. The authors deem it expedient to reconsider the age range for screening and suggest the new algorithms of examination using ultrasound investigation of mammary glands as an additional diagnostic method.
