Abstract
The international archaeological field school was held in Bolghar on August 18–31, 2014. The program of the school embraced general theory lectures, methodical classes, and practical work in the framework of sections on Archaeozoology, History of Ancient Ceramics, History of Ancient Non-ferrous Metallurgy and Metalworking, History of Ferrous Metallurgy and Blacksmithing, Non-destructive Technologies of Archaeological Sites Study, Paleoanthropology, and Cultural Heritage Preservation in Russia and the CIS countries. The school in Bolghar is an experience in organizing a scientific and educational center, focused on practical mastering of modern methods of archaeological sites integrated study with the extensive use of experimental research methods.
