Abstract
Wearables are an increasingly big item in mobile forensics, in large part due to the ever increasing popularity of social media. A device that falls into this category is Google Glass. A big part of the Google Glass interface is dedicated to social media functions. A side-effect of these functions is that in many cases a lot of data is generated that is interesting for forensic research. Therefore, it is imperative that more research is done into these types of devices. This paper will focus on extracting data from Google Glass and the different possible ways of extraction. Following this, the extracted data will be analyzed for any possible artifacts that were left behind from normal use.
