Abstract

The objective of this study was to develop a two stage anaerobic digester for single and co-digestion of edible and non extraction mill. The high protein rich oil cakes from edible mill the non pongamia with major biological nutrients rich nitrogen and phosphorus feed substrate. This waste anaerobic digester of D1 and D2 with 0.5m type gas holder where acetogensis/methanogenesis in of the research is to get more gas efficiency and This study is to examine with three phases single, co-digestion of edible/non pongamia and phase 3 coconut/pongamia. The result shows that the performance of two stage anaerobic systems 12%, respectively more gas reported with higher methane production compare with single stage digestion. The total gas yield reported as 38 liters over 28.28 liters in single stage in phase 1. In phase 2 30.08 liters over 25.80 lit pongamia and in phase 3 co 32.24 liters in single stage co -edible oil cakes obtained from is to generate energy in the form biogas using two 3 capacity and covered by floating drum D1 for hydrolysis/acetogenesis and D2 for a batch process with fixed retention time. The purpose the methane fraction with fixed HRT. using two stage anaerobic digester for -edible feed cakes as phase 1 coconut, phase 2 for single/co-digestion are found to be 10%, 5% and ers as in single stage -digestion of two stage yields of 44.65 liters compared to -digestion of coconut/pongamia. the oil -edible were used as
