Abstract
Ailanthus excelsa commonly known as ‘Mahaneem’ belongs to family ‘Simaroubaceae’ found all over India; is also a medicinal plant used as insecticides. 3% concentration of extracts of Ailanthus excelsa is found lethal to Callosobruchus maculatus.
